Christians, when you answer a question, do you usually read the other answers also?

Question

As a Christian who has posted many questions, I get to read all the answers.
And although I mostly do 'choose best answer', often there are several best answers,
just different.

So, I'm wondering if Christians usually read what others put down in questions,
and whether you tend to do this before or after your reply?

I'm wondering if we, by reading other answers can develop our understanding more than
previously.

99% of the time I do not read other answers BEFORE I answer.



65% of the time I read other answers AFTER submiting an answer.



99% of the time I go back later and read ALL the responses and rate them.



One learns much by reading the responses.

I , like this question, have - read previous responses , but in other questions , i read them after . Thats a great way to learn things , i have learned so much from this site , it is challenging and emotional in some questions .

I always try to give the question a second or even third thought , and most of my answers are edited ,as i go back to them , see what different answerers have added to the subject .None of us know everything , so its great how other opinions can expand your world view , makes me search scripture and google and youtube , so its an awesome tool for keeping up and informed .

I usually read other answers first before replying. That way, if someone has a very correct answer, I will usually let that stand and move on. But also, if there are some extremely wrong answers and I know it, I will answer to make sure the questioner does not think that the other answers are correct.

It depends upon the question. I sometimes read the other answers first, I sometimes read the other answers last, and I sometimes do not read the other answers at all.



If I feel strongly about a subject, I do not care if I am posting a duplicated answer.



If my interest is solid, I read the answers after my answer is posted (which is the easiest way to do it).



And if I am pressed for time, as often, I do not read the other answers at all.

Always before,. There is no reason to give an answer if someone else has already given a correct one. Sometimes after because I enjoy the viewpoints of others who are intelligent. Sadly, this is hard to find on this site.

I will usually read all the answers before responding. If somebody has already responded as I would I see no need for duplication and move on.

Some (who write in all caps, and others) obviously are so connected to omnipotence that they never have to consider other points of view....they ALWAYS know the one and only "right" answer to everything.
