You can't determine such things simply by comparing two words at a given time. For one, how do you know that the Semitic words aren't derived from the Vedic ones? You need much more information than just the two words; intermediates, plausible lines of transmission, etc.

Maybe you should go to the Languages section. You might have better luck for an educated answer there.

The Semitic language is said to have formed 3-4 centuries after the Vedas were written. Besides, it is said that during the vedic and post vedic period, India was culturally overflowing so much that there was no need for adoption of foriegn culture. However, it is possible to be other way around. The semitic language is said to have originated in 4th century BCE and writing of Vedas started during 1st century (which means the language is even older). It is believed that the concept of a chariot drawn by horses was carried by the Aryans from India to ancient Egypt, Babylon and Greece. However, many historicans donot believe a direct influence has taken place, the possible location being the Arab peninsula. Some historicans even argue that when comparing two great civilizations similarities are bound to occur further clouding the legitimity of the theory.

I very much doubt that you did your research, Sanatan Dharma is dated back millions of years ago, we have the "Adam's Bridge" as a recent reminder, how old did NASA said it was? NOT HEARING YOU!! If you would look at modern day religion, and ancient Hinduism, you'll see striking similarities, Who copied who? The Vedic terms was here before your ''Shalom, JIbrael, Adam, Abraham & Sarah, it seems that you've got your facts confused. It should really be the other way around,

They are all Kabbalistic gods. exept for Yahshua or Yeshua who is above them all.

Mitra: The Pope wears the fish mitre and December 25 is the birthday of Mithraism. The Philistines practiced Mithraism, and there god Dagon fell and broke in three pieces when the arc of the covenant was placed before it. For all the gods of the peoples are idols but the Lord made the heavens.
