What, exactly, is a clone? Somebody who plays copycat based on somebody else's identity on the boards?

Do they have certain messages to say?

A 'Clone' may refer to:

Clone, in horticulture and biology, any organism whose genetic information is identical to that of a "mother organism" from which it was created.

Clone (genetics), in molecular biology, an exact replica of all or part of a macromolecule (e.g. DNA).

Clone (computer science), a computer made by a third party, such as PC clones or Macintosh clones.

clone (function), various functions in computer programming including:

clone (Linux system call), a Linux system call that duplicates a thread

clone (Java method), a Java function that duplicates an object

Clone (computer and video games), a game or game franchise heavily inspired by another.

Clone (voting), in the analysis of voting systems, an additional candidate who appears as attractive to each voter as an existing candidate.

Clone (database), a complete and modified copy of a database environment that's often used for development or testing purposes.

A butch or masculine gay man, though the term is mostly associated with the 70s and 80s. The "clone uniform" is mustache, jeans, and white t-shirt.

Clone tool used in raster graphics editors to move image information from one area in a picture to another

Clone trooper, Republic soldiers in the Star Wars universe.

Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, sometimes referred to as Clones in shorthand.

"Clone", a song by Avail from their 1994 album Dixie.

"Clone", a novel by malcom rose regarding the ethics and risks of cloning.

Molecular cloning refers to the procedure of isolating a defined DNA sequence and obtaining multiple copies of it in vivo. Cloning is frequently employed to amplify DNA fragments containing genes, but it can be used to amplify any DNA sequence such as promoters, non-coding sequences and randomly fragmented DNA.

COMPUTERS:

clone creates a new thread that starts with function pointed to by the fn argument (as opposed to fork() which continues with the next command after fork().) The child_stack argument is a pointer to a memory space to be used as the stack for the new thread (which must be malloc'ed before that; on most architectures stack grows down, so the pointer should point at the end of the space), flags specify what gets inherited from the parent process, and arg is the argument passed to the function. It returns the process ID of the child process or -1 on failure.

and..

clone() is a method in the Java programming language for object duplication.

Because objects in Java are referred to using reference types, there is no direct way to copy the contents of an object into a new object. Assignment of one reference to another merely creates another reference to the same object. Therefore, a special clone() method exists for all reference types in order to provide a standard mechanism for an object to make a copy of itself.

The Java class Object contains a clone() method that creates and returns a copy of the object. By default, classes in Java do not support cloning and the default implementation of clone throws a CloneNotSupportedException. Classes wishing to allow cloning must implement the marker interface Cloneable. Since the default implementation of Object.clone only performs a shallow copy, classes must also override clone to provide a custom implementation when a deep copy is desired.

A clone in a scientific sense is an exact genetic duplicate of an organism that is man-made. Twins can be genetically identical but they were not man made and are not clones.

Religious folks don't like man creating life like this, but then they say man was created in gods image, so it seems we were something that religions would have to support.

But then religions have always been about power and control.

Cloning requires both DNA and embryo cells in order to take place. First, DNA is removed from the nucleus of a creature’s cell. The material, bearing coded genetic information, is then placed in the nucleus of an embryonic cell of another creature; the cell receiving the new genetic information would have had its own DNA removed in order to accept the new DNA. If the cell accepts the new DNA, a duplicate embryo is formed. However, the embryo cell may reject the new DNA, and will die.

The clones that are referred to in here more often, are the Christians... They all believe in the same out dated book of faerie tales, they all cut and paste scripture a mile long that nobody reads but themselves, and believe it as well..They are the brainwashed, usually from birth, spoon fed on scripture and any other Bible related claptrap....Definition of a clone, a Christian... Blessed Be... )O(

What Lance said. God led the way by taking the rib from adam, and forming eve from it. So eve is a genetic clone of adam. While God formed the man from dirt, eve was made/cloned/created from living genetic D.N.A.
