Some believe that:
a virgin gave birth to a god;
a supernatural being created the earth, the sun and the moon, and all living things, in six days;
the first man was fashioned from clay and the first woman from that man's rib, and that they lost immortality and innocence because they listened to a talking snake.
Why these beliefs have survived is difficult to explain. But those who hold them have mostly been brought up to believe by their families and communities. More detail can be found in a collection of ancient writings known collectively as the Bible.

Cultures in countries or in villages can have strabge beliefs or practices!
It might be strange to you but in there life and ways they know of its very normal and your way is strange too them.
People still use animals or blood or fire too practice or bring out spirits or too communicate with loved ones that passed away. Its merely difrent to us and we see this as evil or bad.
Even here in the USA I believe in God but The Catholics pray to Mary! This personally bother's my belief system because it states in the Bible you pray only unto the father! This confusses me because, the Bible says one thing but the Catholic Church says its ok too do other things and I feel its not right too pick and too choose over what God intenended or meant!
