Question:
Do christians just not know what the words tangible evidence mean?

Are dictionaries not allowed in their homes?

When I ask for tangible evidence that jesus existed, and all you give me are unsubstantiated assertions, I know you're are either delusional or disingenuous. Or just too supid, ignorant, and uneducated to know what the words 'tangible evidence' mean.

I find it hard to argue against willful ignorance that this question is filled with.

For me I know there is no tangible evidence that I can put my fingers on or taste and touch and smell and give you proof of that evidence.

Instead I can only say what I know that is evidence for me and affirms my faith is much larger than I am. There is world history and historians and artifacts in museums and the Middle East where Israel and the other Arab nations are that have Jesus Christ as a historical figure not just in their religion but in their culture their livelihood. There are world maps that are preChristian and pre Jesus Christ and afterwards. The calendar dates etc. There is the existence of church buildings and we have national holidays like Christmas and Easter and traditions and cultures of peoples all impacted by the followers of Jesus Christ.

Yes I have my faith. But it is centered on knowledge that all the world knows about and can see. It's not just me. Deny my testimony and you have countless others who have the similar testimony.

Call me stupid and ignorant. Yes I do have besides my faith my own personal testimony and have a spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ that the unsaved cannot understand. I know this. Yet even if you do know or understand this I would never call you names. I would acknowledge that at this present time you are unable to accept the way I view life.

Take care.

yes we know what tagible evidence means

we are not all ignorant like you claim we are.

the bible says there was a worldwide flood.

the evidence is everywhere, sea creatures fossils slamed into mountaintops

Jesus predicted the destruction of the temple, many eyewitnesses heard it

the temple is destroyed

the resurection of Jesus,

the tomb had a roman seal on it,proving the body was not stolen

and the guards would have been put to death for abandoning that post

Tangible means that which can be touched. So tell me, where's your tangible evidence for any historical evident? Or do you just cherry-pick those you'd choose to believe due to your rational deduction that they have shaped the world? If you think Christianity hasn't profoundly shaped the world, I question your grasp on history.

But, why does it matter so much to you?

Yes we do, but do you really know?

Evidence/Proof? Can mankind even proof we exist at all?

Can you prove you exist? or that there is air? or that the world exists? and how it all was done? if not then you have no proof. To prove we exist you have to prove: how it all happened, how it began, how we work or are designed and more. Can you prove all this?

No one can prove anything, for it can always be another way. Nothing we have proves it must be this way or that way. This can be like the Matrix movies or a dream in itself or anything else.

We believe we are real, but have no real proof. We believe many things, but have no real proof of any of it. We are taught to believe things, and nothing has absolute proof or is thus provable.

bless you.

Why should we give you tangible evidence? The burden of proof is not upon us, it's up to you to find your own tangible evidence.

Don't tell us to give you tangible evidence. Go find your own. Or leaves us alone.

We all know what that is. Christian live by faith with the hope that their faith will become sight. Meaning Jesus will become tangible.

Read the book, "The case for Christ" by Lee Strobel and you'll see the mass of evidence for Christianity.

I'm an atheist, but here are some non-biblical writings on Jesus from around the time he was alleged to have lived, from non-Christian sources. You know, tangible evidence. These Wikipedia pages have dozens of sources from scholars and historians to back up every claim.
