Hinduism may be 5 Million Years Old as a Religion ? Would you believe me .

This is if you read Hindu Scriptures , which suggests the great Antiquity . More than 5 Million Years Ago , India was once an Island , In Hindu Scriptures this Island is referred to JAMBUDWIPA .( An Island of Jambu Trees )

You would be surprised , you can still find Sea Shells & fish fossils in the Himalayas that rose from the bottom of Indian Ocean .

Maybe a Million years ago , Great Hindu Rishi Kashyapa drained a Valley filled with Sea Water , this place was then referred to as Kashyapa Mira ( Modern Kashmir ) once a great Seat Of Hindu Learning , Sharada Pith ( before Hindu Holocaust ) .

Great Hindu Rishi ( Author of Ashtanga Yoga ) Maharishi Patanjali was born in JAMBUDWIPA ( Modern Day India ) .
Sri Lankan people , even todate , still refer to India with its Ancient Name : DambaDwipa ( a varient of Jambudwipa )

The Elephant God?

WHAT is Hinduism? Is it just the oversimplified Western concept of venerating animals, bathing in the Ganges, and being divided by castes? Or is there more to it? The answer: There is much more. Hinduism is a different way of understanding life, to which Western values are totally alien. Westerners tend to see life as a chronological line of events in history. Hindus see life as a self-repeating cycle in which human history is of little importance.

2 It is no easy task to define Hinduism, since it has no definite creed, priestly hierarchy, or governing agency. However, it does have swamis (teachers) and gurus (spiritual guides). A broad definition of Hinduism given by one history book states that it is “the whole complex of beliefs and institutions that have appeared from the time when their ancient (and most sacred) scriptures, the Vedas, were composed until now.” Another one states: “We might say that Hinduism is adherence to or worship of the gods Vishnu, or Shiva [Siva], or the goddess Shakti, or their incarnations, aspects, spouses, or progeny.” That serves to include the cults of Rama and Krishna (incarnations of Vishnu), Durga, Skanda, and Ganesa (respectively the wife and sons of Siva). It is claimed that Hinduism has 330 million gods, yet it is said that Hinduism is not polytheistic. How can that be?

3 Indian writer A. Parthasarathy explains: “The Hindus are not polytheistic. Hinduism speaks of one God . . . The different gods and goddesses of the Hindu pantheon are mere representatives of the powers and functions of the one supreme God in the manifested world.”

4 Hindus often refer to their faith as sanatana dharma, which means eternal law or order. Hinduism is really a loose term that describes a host of religions and sects (sampradayas) that have developed and flourished over the millenniums under the umbrella of the complex ancient Hindu mythology. So intricate is that mythology that the New Larousse Encyclopedia of Mythology states: “Indian mythology is an inextricable jungle of luxuriant growths. When you enter it you lose the light of day and all clear sense of direction.” Nevertheless, this chapter will cover some of the features and teachings of that faith.

Dear Brother

I agree with you that Vedas are the most Ancient Holy Scripture in the world today. But why did they hide this holy book from common persons or humanity for thousands of years?

Let me give you a shloka of Yujer Ved, which cearly says you cannot give shape to God Almighty the ultimate creator and its sustainer.

His Murti (replica) cannot be made

Yejer Ved 3-32

Parmatma creates all the Parja

Uther Ved 1-19-7

All the praise is to the Creator of this world

Rig Ved 1-81-5

That Eshwar knows well about whole world.

Rig Ved 4-187-10

Eshwar knows every thing, who is standing, walking, deceiving, hiding, troubling others and the secrets between two of them.

Uther Ved 2-16-4

Eshwar sees whatever is in or above the earth and sky. Uther Ved 5-16-4

Creator has made the sun and moon like His other creatures. Rig Ved 3-190-10

O Parmeshwar, You are the First before any one and You are the All Knower. Rig Ved 2-31-1

Knowing good and evil, God has separated evil from good and ordered people; submit yourself to truth and not to falsehood. Yajar Ved 77-19

O Absolute Powerful High Esteemed God Bless us, as we go astray by our own ignorance

Rig Ved 3-89-7

Now Brother tell me where is the question of worshipping any thing else other than God Almighty Eshwar Allah?

Almighty GOD is ONE, call HIM by any name. But it should be a Beautiful one WITHOUT any Mental picture.

What we say that there is ONE GOD means HE is the same GOD for Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Athiests, Buddhists and all mankind.

Because GOD is ONE and for all mankind.

Therefore, if you say ALLAH, ELI, ELIAH, BRAHMA, all refer to GOD. We can best understand this from the Hindu Scripture example.

Hindus say GOD is Brahma. Which if translated into English means 'The Creator' and if translated into Arabic means 'Khaliq'

Therefore if you call Almighty GOD as 'The Creator' OR 'Khaliq' OR 'Brahma' it is ONE and the SAME.

BUT...

The trouble arises when the Hindus ascribe features to GOD that are NOT worthy for GOD. For example, they say Brahma is the GOD who has 10 heads, so and so hands, etc...

And this goes against the fundamentals of Islam, Judaism and Christianity (As per the Gospel of Barnabas) and even True Hinduism itself (Vedas are against this)...

Therefore, All religions speak about Monotheism BUT the True essence of Monotheism has now remained in Islam only as...

1. The Church has fabricated the Trinity and mis-lead the Chirstians from the True message of Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him)

2. The Hindus do NOT read the Vedas and practice Idol worship which is against their own scriptures.

It is all un-founded,not-true,misleading information.According to scholars like Max Muller(German),Hinduism is about 6000 years old and according sri.Bala Gangadhara Tilak from Astronomical evidences it is about 10,000 yeras old.

Jambu Dweepa does not mean land of Jambu( a kind of Indian violet coloured edible fruits) trees.Jambu means Water --Dweepa means a Peninsula =a land sorrounded on three sides by Bay of Bengal,Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean.

No. Homo sapiens hasn't been around that long. It is difficult to have a religion without people to believe in it.
