Respectful dialog creates understanding, understanding creates tolerance, tolerance creates less tension and less tension creates a more peaceful and balanced world.



It would definitely be a great place to start.

Why is it that people of any faith have no problem with the fact that the creator they recognize is "all-powerful" yet they refuse to believe that a creator could appear to different races and/or regions in different fashions and be the SAME creator? The link that binds is that one should acknowledge and respect the creator and respect his/her creations. Why would something that could create perfection bind the creation with such tight boundaries and expect that creation to reach an acceptable level in only one attempt? Why would anyone accept only one faith as being completely correct when all faiths are assembled by man no matter how "God" inspired? Why would a reasonable and logical creator either not appear at all or only once in the creation form to guide, teach, or correct his/her creations? To get to the truth one will sift through it all only to find that respect and love of creator and creations are the answer. It was never meant to be something that takes a rocket scientist to figure out. Theorize all you wish...attack and defend all you can...but the best recourse is action in the situation you are in to show the creator that his/her creation HAS the love and respect to continue on with whatever is in store past this plane of existence. I would be open to an interfaith dialog but I don't think the world is able to embrace it on a grand level.

I have been to a few interfaith dialog events. I enjoy them very much and find them to be very enlightening and enjoyable. Most of the ones I attend take place in either a neutral space or tour various faith facilities. I recently signed up to volunteer with the local Interfaith Ministries organization. I feel that interfaith dialog fulfills key steps of understanding and compassion. Soo... that would be love it, yes, & YES!... :-)

I would gladly be involved with interfaith dialog. I am grounded enough in my faith, that I will not be swayed, but yet I am truly interested in learning more about other religions in the world, because I do not know enough about a lot of the religions out there to make to many educated comments or responses to. I think the answer to the world's problems is easy. JESUS!!!!

The Great Whore mentioned in Book of Revelation is just that-a true interfaith organization where every religion comes together under its umbrella but 2. They are Judaism and Christianity because neither of these religions are willing to compromise their beliefs and as a result are persecuted by the Great Whore.



Because I do believe in this prophecy, I will not willingly help set in motion the destruction or persecution of future or perhaps present day Christians and Jews.

Interfaith dialog doesn't work because every person there is counting how many of the others in the room are going to hell and therefore need not be listened to.

I think the interfaith dialog will be another attempt by human beings to solve the world's problems apart from God despite claims to the contrary. I wouldn't take part in one because I wouldn't compromise God's truth in order to be unequally yoked with people who don't trust in Jesus for their salvation and have never been born again by the Holy Spirit.



While people can get together and do "some" good in their time our problems won't be "solved" until Jesus comes again. I would rather join with a non-religious charitable organization than to give tacit approval to false religious systems.
