Why is the fact that mankind has been around a lot longer than any of the god MYTHS sufficient.......?

Anatomically modern humans have been around for about 100,000 years and were capable of using their vocal chords to communicate. Gods myths have only been around for about 5000 years and the Christian god didn’t gain popularity until the last 2000 years or so. The math doesn't lie - - all gods are man made!

If you actually based this question on existing science and the facts found within anthropology, you would know that follwers have not worshipped 'God' for 5000 years. The jewish/Christian/muslim god has only been solely worshipped by it's followers since fairly recent times as far as civilization's timeline goes. People were still gathering to worship pagan gods into the 17-18th centuries, longer to present dates in other places in which the Inquisition did not exist. Archeology has proven that people largely worshipped 'God' along with other deities until persecution began in earnest near the end of Roman Late Antiquity.

The first myths recorded began while man still lived in caves, and were painted on cave walls, carved in stone, and left on artifacts you can still find in many museums. Man's desire to believe in something beyond himself has always existed for purposes of social interaction since man began interacting with other humans. The first recorded or created god-forms that were used were in the shape of animals and half animal half human combinations. Later on, the Egyptians would expand on this. PLEASE read more on anthropology and archeology before settling down to believe that man did not have the mental capacity for imagination strong enough to create myths prior to 5000 years ago. Knowledge is power.

There it is in black and white. God was there before the term "Christianity" was ever coined. So were believers in God.
