Question:
ALL RELIGIONS... DO U BELIEVE IN GRAVITY > wind ?
2010-05-21 01:21:13 UTC
NOW I HEAR ALOT OF PEOPLE SAY ESPECIALLY ATHIESTS SAY THAT HOW CAN U BELEIVE A RELIGION WHICH WAS CREATED THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO....
TRUE GOOD POINT... BUT
let me ask do u belive in gravity > do u belive in wind ? can u see it?> NO .. do u have proof it exists ?wait no proof ? but u still beleive in it right ?
any way my point is which scientist finally revealed that gravity is a true aspect of the universe. ?
HOW LONG AGO ? one thousand ? two thousand ?
how can u believe this ? wasnt this like ages ago? and im only mentioning this point because athiests always bring up science nd how it miraculously explains everything.. NOW I want proof that Gravity exists give me a source... same thing with religion .. ..
God created gravity by the way in such a perfect way that no other creation could have done so..
thanks for all answerrss

wait, you don't see proof of gravity or wind? how about the fact that there is such a thing as windmills and that you are not at the moment floating through the stratosphere

I am a Christian and you ask good questions but you need to bone up on your science. Einstein prooved in the 1970's that gravity does not exist. The scientists still talk about gravity because they don't like to admit that they were wrong (they have huge egos). Newton could see that it seemed that material objects were attracted to each other but he could never figure out why. So, like many scientists in this position, instead of saying, "I don't know", he made a word label for the phenomenon, "gravity", and then gave it a vague definition. He said that there is an "intrinsic" quality of matter that causes it to be attracted to other matter.

In Einstein's theory of relativity, he says that what causes objects to seem to come toward other objects is that space is actually curved. He said that it is like if you stretch a big rubber sheet and put a bowling ball on it, it will cause any small balls you put near it to roll toward the bowling ball. His theory was proved in the 1970's by astronomical observations.

You are correct of course that people that don't believe that there is a God say that you can't prove it by using logic and philosophy but that you can believe what the scientists say. That there is a God is much more of a certainty than anything that any scientist ever said. A person can have a relationship with God and can even experience union with God.

Of course there is proof for gravity and wind.

You can measure it, calculate it...

Scientists didn't just guess or write about there being wind and gravity, it had to be proven to be accepted as fact.

You, however, have no proof whatsoever that God created gravity, or even exists.

It was an extremely, extremely poor analogy that made no sense because you compared 2 things that have been proven and can be tested and measured with something that never has been proven, can't be tested or measured.

Why the hell are you yelling at me?

Gravity and wind can be tested and measured, which is proof, isn't it?

Gravity's source: The center of large masses.

Gravity has always been a part of the universe. I can tell you that if it wasn't for gravity, human beings wouldn't exist. Nothing would exist, for that matter.

You know? This isn't even worth it.

Jesus Christ, you believe that God gave you a brain, don't you? Maybe it's time you should use it.

There is plenty of proof for gravity and wind you fool.

None for any gods though.....

Take rain for example.

When it falls, that is proof of gravity.

When it falls at an angle, that is proof of gravity AND wind.

That is a terrible analogy, I don't think you really understand the real point of an analogous argument. Of course scientists proved gravity, but the difference is, scientists (and anyone else for that matter) can STILL prove gravity at work. Your god is nothing more than a myth, and there is very little evidence of Jesus existing at all. The world would be a better place without religion.

It's fairly well known that Isaac Newton documented the force we call gravity............wait! He believed in God! He must have been a real idiot, right? And while we're at it, let's throw Einstein into that group of idiots because he believed in God too.

On second thought, I think I'll stick with those guys. They've got way more scientific credibility than anyone you guys can come up with. So, as long as we're picking teams, who do think would win the battle of the brains? I like my chances.

examine your guy or woman concepts please. i do no longer comprehend how others think of and it is not appropriate to me how they rationalize their own righteousness. Self righteousness it the real villain. people who take a seat around thinking how they're greater staggering are like drunks on a bar stool achieving international affairs with a bottle. human beings enroll in all sorts of philosophies, their own and others. What good do you're able to criticize them? Are you greater useful? Smarter? you could no longer stay a existence from a e book. So, what do you comprehend? faith is a sturdy component. Blind faith is efficient. many human beings have no get entry to to medical technique, and that they'd not use it for ethical and non secular perspectives in the event that they did because of the fact they have straightforward sense. The Bible and maximum different scriptures of the worlds religions are myth and fiction. There are super classes in the scriptures. do no longer placed human beings down or assume you comprehend what they think. isn't it candy adequate that human beings have the loose good to prepare their ideals without Hitler, Stalin, dictators and tyrants telling others what they could have self belief and to be faithless. you're borderline with a tyrant. i do no longer care with reference to the ten factors, yet once you had straightforward sense you're able to look into faith, theory, and how prayer works. it is not in simple terms twist of fate, prayer works interior of each cellular of your physique. provide it a truthful attempt and don't enable your concepts block the technique.

Lol, what a bad troll.

You can feel gravity. You can observe gravity. You can measure gravity. Same with wind. With the right equipment, you can even "see" wind.

God's NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. Same with his influence.

"you u have proof it exists"

Yes, there is evidence for gravity and wind other than visual confirmation. Your ignorance is showing.

"I want proof that Gravity exists"

Pick up ball. Drop ball. Observe that some force appears to be acting on the ball causing it to move, specifically, to "fall". We call this force "gravity". Experiment with objects of different weight, shape, and form.
Guess who's going to Hell?

Your comparing things we can measure (wind, gravity) with something we cannot (God)? You haven't thought this through.

You want proof of gravity? This is a little /facepalm.
2010-05-21 01:40:22 UTC
Uhh...Yeah we have proof that gravity exists, because when I drop an apple to the ground,it falls.

And when I drop a paper to the ground, wind blows it up.You are an idiot.

Yes there's gravity, you can't float on earth but you can on the moon. Yes to wind too. You can feel it duh...I can see it because the leaves rustle.

What a bad arguement you have, Fail

Agree with Scut. Isn't wind mill a big proof?

Using your logic I could "discover" a new religion and say I saw my god and then you'd have to accept what I just told you as true because I said so.

I love you my beautiful sister for your dedication to the faith in our Lord Jesus, but even I understand simple calculus. It was Isaac Newton who invented gravity. God put it in his mind and when he went forth with his invention, people stopped levitating. You are a beautiful creature and I hope Christ rewards you with all the grace and treasures you deserve. God bless you!
